The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid features an efficient powertrain that can help you save on fuel costs. This popular minivan recently earned recognition from the Northwest Automotive Press Association, as this year’s Northwest Green Vehicle of the Year.
The efficient Pacifica Hybrid beat out 18 other eco-friendly vehicles to secure this title. Its competitors included full hybrids, battery-electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrids. None of them could keep up with the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan.
Journalists cited the minivan’s value and high efficiency as two reasons for its winning of the significant award. Other deciding factors included a spacious interior with plenty of passenger and cargo space. The model’s easy-to-use amenities and 115 innovations in the minivan segment established it as the winner of this reputable accolade.
“What’s particularly remarkable is that you can achieve this fuel economy while also carrying a family of seven in the front and a suitcase for everyone in the back. This, along with a notable amount of standard equipment, makes the Pacifica Hybrid a truly family-friendly vehicle,” said Sarah Shelton, drive revolution chair at U.S. News & World Report.
In addition to winning Northwest Green Vehicle of the Year, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid also won the Northwest Family-Sized Plug-in Hybrid title for the second year in a row.
